An Evening with Leafs Legends

February 1, 2019

Relive the greatest moments in Maple Leafs history

The 59th Annual Kinsmen Sports Celebrity Dinner will pay tribute to the storied franchise of the Toronto Maple Leafs and highlight a number of Leafs legends to wear the blue and white.

The star-studded lineup will include Saskatchewan’s own Wendel Clark along with Doug Gilmour, Curtis Joseph, Darryl Sittler and Lanny McDonald. Your host for the evening will be Glenn Healy.

We’re very excited to announce that the Hanson Brothers are puttin’ on the foil and will be joining us for what will be an epic night of “old time hockey” talk. Do not miss out on this rare opportunity to meet the most iconic hockey characters of all time.

These guys will have all of us on the edge of our seats!

The Dinner That Feeds The Community

Thanks to the incredible support from business and industry leaders to all our fundraising efforts, the Kinsmen Club of Saskatoon has given over 12 million dollars back to the community over the last 20 years.

First started in 1960, the Kinsmen Sports Celebrity Dinner brings speakers and entertainers from the world of sports to help celebrate the accomplishments of Saskatoon’s local athletes, teams and leaders. It’s the dinner that feeds the entire community.

Each year at the dinner, we present the Kinsmen Athlete of the Year, the Kinsmen Lloyd Saunders Scholarship, the Kinsmen Bill Hunter Team of the Year, and the Sportsman of the Year.

Serving The Community's Greatest Need

Since 1928, the Kinsmen Club of Saskatoon has served the entire community by raising funds that help those with nowhere else to turn. The impact on our city is evident everywhere you look.

We remain the largest Kinsmen Club in Canada, and the commitment of our members has helped us become one of the strongest service clubs in the country. Thanks to the Saskatoon business community, we’ve been able to help over 200 charities, non-profits and community organizations.

“We can never do enough for charities and never raise enough money.”
